什么是科学辩论团体邀请赛？ What is the Science Debate Competition?

科学辩论团体邀请赛（Shanghai Science Debate Competition，简称SSDC）是创办于1991年的上海市中学生科普英语竞赛的拓展活动。活动聚焦"科学精神、实践创新、国际理解"三大核心素养，鼓励学生关注前沿环境、能源与人工智能等人类共同挑战，紧扣国家科技发展重点，开展科学探究，培养批判思维和沟通合作精神，全面提升科学素养、国际视野与创新思维能力，助力发现与培养具有科学家潜质的青少年，为建设科技强国贡献力量。 The Shanghai Science Debate Competition (SSDC) is an extension activity of the Shanghai High School Students' Popular Science English Competition founded in 1991. The competition focuses on three core competencies: "scientific spirit, practical innovation, and international understanding," encouraging students to pay attention to common human challenges such as frontier environment, energy, and artificial intelligence. Closely aligned with national science and technology development priorities, it promotes scientific inquiry, cultivates critical thinking and communication skills, comprehensively enhances scientific literacy, international perspective, and innovative thinking abilities, helping to discover and nurture young people with scientific potential, and contributing to building a strong nation in science and technology.

比赛采用SSDC辩论赛制，参赛选手需围绕前沿科学话题进行正反方立场辩论，通过立论、质询、反驳和总结等环节全面展示科学理解、论证推理和英语思辨能力。 The competition adopts the SSDC debate format, where participants need to debate around cutting-edge scientific topics from both affirmative and negative positions, fully demonstrating their scientific understanding, argumentative reasoning, and English critical thinking abilities through constructive speeches, cross-examination, rebuttal, and summary sessions.

团队构成 Team Composition

每校最多可组建3支辩论队 Each school may form up to 3 debate teams
每队需包含5名辩手 Each team must include 5 debaters
每队需配备1名指导老师 Each team requires 1 supervising teacher

指导老师可申请担任SSDC辩论赛裁判，经专业培训后可参与比赛裁判工作 Supervising teachers may apply to serve as SSDC debate judges and may participate as judges after professional training

技术要求 Technical Requirements

统一采用mp4格式编码 All videos must use MP4 format
单个视频时长严格控制在4分钟以内 Each video must be strictly limited to under 4 minutes
单个视频文件大小不得超过150MB Individual video file size must not exceed 150MB
必须保证视频图像及音频清晰可辨 Video and audio must be clear and discernible
严禁合并多个环节内容，每位辩手独立提交 Combining multiple segments is strictly prohibited; each debater must submit separately

作品提交时间为2026年5月1日—5月16日；上传与标注方式以上海市科技艺术教育中心后续通知为准（通常为微信小程序操作）。 Submit videos May 1–16, 2026. Exact upload steps will follow the Center’s official notice (typically via the WeChat mini-program).
视频画面需显示选手正面，确保面部表情清晰可见 Videos must show contestants' faces clearly, ensuring facial expressions are visible
每个视频须对应绑定1位实际发言辩手，在系统中上传时按环节标注；严禁合并多个环节。 Each video must map to one speaker and be labeled by segment in the system; do not merge segments.

预选赛将选拔64支队伍（初中、高中各32支）进入晋级赛；每校晋级名额不超过2支队伍。 The preliminary round selects 64 teams (32 per division) for semifinals, with at most two teams per school advancing.
